Artvigil Review: Legit Smart Drug or No?

Artvigil offers impressive cognitive benefits. While this isn’t my #1 favorite nootropic, I wanted to create this Artvigil review because many people can benefit from the smart drug.

I feel that choosing the right nootropic ultimately depends on what suits your unique biology. I’ve always had a preference for Modafinil but at the same time, I’ve kept an open mind about all the other “smart drugs” available in the market.

This means that I have sometimes, shamelessly, used my own body as a guinea pig for experimenting with generic Armodafinil drugs to find one that suits my needs and reacts well with my body.

I tried Artvigil because my roommate recommended it and am writing this Artvigil review blog for all those who are curious about this drug and are looking to experiment with it. Let’s see what this drug brings to the table!

Armodafinil Basics

Artvigil is a generic form of Armodafinil.

Did you know that Modafinil and Armodafinil are basically cousins?

Modafinil was created in the 1990s and became one of the most popular and successful drugs to treat conditions such as shift-work disorder, sleep apnea, and narcolepsy.

In the 2000s, scientists wanted to make something a little stronger.

So, Armodafinil was developed by the creators of Modafinil, the Lafon Laboratories in France by under the name ‘Nuvigil’.  

The molecule of Modafinil molecule is made of two different enantiomers:

• R Modafinil
• S Modafinil

The R Modafinil is known to be more active when it comes to promoting wakefulness.

This means Armodafinil (which contains R Modafinil) is obviously stronger than modafinil meaning that these two compounds do differ in terms of intensity.

With a similar half-life, Armodafinil is known to reach peak blood concentration slightly later than Modafinil does, making it more successful in improving one’s wakefulness.

In simple terms…

Although Modafinil will start off to be stronger, it is Armodafinil which peaks harder providing you with a focused and an intense experience.

Armodafinil users report feeling a stronger as well as smoother effect with the drug of their choice compared to modafinil. In terms of dosage, the peak effects you get from taking a 200mg dose of Modafinil, you will only need about 150 mg of Armodafinil to feel the same effects.

To sum it up, Armodafinil has become popular due to:

  • Smaller doses

What Is Artvigil?

Like I said in the previous section of this Artvigil review, the smart drug is a generic form of Armodafinil available in the market.

This means that the chemical structure of Artvigil and Nuvigil is the same but the former is produced by Sun Pharmaceuticals in India.

Artvigil costs a fraction of the price of Provigil because it is manufactured in the US Food and Drug Administration approved Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, India—one of the world’s leading pharma companies.

Sun Pharma is headquartered in Mumbai and was founded in 1983.  The company currently is the 5th largest pharmaceuticals company in the world that produces generic medicine.  

Benefits of Using Artvigil

The reason why Artvigil is so popular is that the drug does exactly what it claims to.

However…

Each and every individual is not the same. While some report to have strong effects, others say that they don’t feel the effects of the drug at all and have to switch to a stronger alternative.

In order to reap the benefits of modafinil or armodafinil, you need to find the brand that suits your unique biology the best.

I would recommend you to try Modafinil before you take Armodafinil. If you find it to not be strong enough, then, you can switch to Artvigil or Waklert.

Following are a few benefits of using Artvigil:

Increased Energy

The thing I like about Artvigil is that you get added energy, but not die-hard wakefulness!  I feel that Artvigil has a gentle and slower kick is which helps you achieve your goals.

I feel that Artvigil provides you with the perfect amount of attentiveness and calm.

Longer Attention Span

Your span of attention becomes larger after you take some Artvigil—but not to the point where you take every single detail in! I feel that Artvigil helps you concentrate in a productive and relaxing way.

Effects on Mood

The mood-altering influence that Artvigil is known for can help you either make or break your day. Following are the effects that Artvigil has on one’s mood:

    2. Less anxiety
    3. Faint feeling of content
    4. Better concentration 

Half Life

One of the things that attracted me to this drug was that it kicks in quickly. So, for me, it usually takes about 45 minutes for the drug to work compared to the 60-80 minutes it takes for modafinil.

The effects are strong, and I feel them for a good 8-10 hours compared to the 15-16 hours of Modalert 200.

Personally, I love this about Artvigil because I like getting a good night’s sleep! If you’re reading this Artvigil review, understand that this is a huge benefit. 

Generic Armodafinil Dosage

Of course, Artvigil—or any drug for that matter—won’t work well for you if you don’t take proper doses.

If you are a new user, I’d recommend that you take Artvigil once or twice a week. But, NOT more than three times a week or else you’ll mess up your tolerance.

Daily use of smart drugs isn’t a smart thing to do.

If you want to use Artvigil as a substitute of Modafinil, I would recommend that you take it once or twice a week and then, take modafinil once or twice a week as well.

Do not take this drug more than three times a week.

As for doses, I feel that the 150 mg pill is adequate enough. For me, I’ve never needed to use more.

But, keep in mind that you should never take more than 300mg of this drug—unless you’re experienced in using smart drugs.

Keep in mind that it ultimately is your body that you’re playing with.

Side Effects of Artvigil

Even though the side effects of nootropic are known to be not severe, users all over the world have reported a few minor side effects. I have never had an issue with Armodafinil (or with Modafinil) but I do know a few people who have.

Because you see, everyone is different! So, you need to test a drug out in order to determine how it’ll react with your physiology. Don’t just take my Artvigil review for it! Test things out. 

Following are some common side effects associated with the use of Artvigil:

• • • Headaches
    • Dizziness
    • Nausea
    • Insomnia
    • Dry Mouth

The side effects of Artvigil are minimal. They should really not be a concern for most Armodafinil users.

Artvigil Review: Legit or Nah? 

All in all, I feel that Artvigil is not a waste of money and is a good cheap and generic Armodafinil that is available in the market. I feel that this drug does the job it’s supposed to—and then some.

Should you buy Artvigil?

I feel that you should! I wouldn’t write this Artvigil review if I didn’t believe in the smart drug. But, keep in mind that this drug won’t give you superhuman powers. But with the proper goals, Artvigil will give you a nice cognitive improvement to help you achieve your goals.
